Adolescent Training Programme

Personalised one to one adolescent training programme for spaniels, Cockapoos & other spaniel crossbreeds once they have reached 6 months until they are approximately 18 months. 

Your programme is specifically designed to help you and your adolescent dog navigate their way through hormonally charged and sometimes scary adolescent period. Also to help you maintain you and your dog's confidence communication & connection during this period. We will hold sessions in real life situations & distractions. including local countryside, woodland or public recreation & urban areas.

The adolescent training programme is individual to you and your spaniel, cockapoo or other spaniel crossbreed. To help and support while you both learn how to navigate life during this emotionally charged period.

Covering:

  • Understanding the hormonal changes and why it can alter behaviours 
  • Communication
  • Recall
  • Lead walking
  • Meeting & greeting dogs and people  & seeing wildlife or livestock
  • Sitting calmly in distracting locations or cafes etc

'The Adolescent Dog Training Programme includes:

  • An initial consultation (2h hours) at your home for us all to meet and get to know each other so we can talk through your issues 
  • 3 x 60 minute sessions (usually fortnightly) held in locations appropriate to your needs
  • Programme plan and notes where required
  • Email or Telephone support

Programme - £250

Follow on  blocks of 3 x 60 minute sessions - £150

Single in home consultation/assessment - £100

Adolescent dog training programmes take place in your home or suitable local locations within 10 miles of Oswestry other locations in North Shropshire and the Welsh borders can be booked but will include an additional travel charge depending on the distance.
